Lyndsey had fun giving mom her mothers day “goody bag/gift” before church, all of which she picked out at Meijers Saturday all by herself (with a ‘little’ help from dad). It made Carrie’s day for sure to see Lyndsey so excited about giving mom her gift. Lyndsey sure loves Carrie!
After morning service, we went to lunch at Logan’s Roadhouse. Mom and Dad Abberger met us there. We had a great time. How can you have a bad time with family while eating steak and shrimp?
The evening service was a real treat. Bro. Scott Gray came with one of the Hyles-Anderson tour groups. Bro. Scott Gray’s preaching was right on, and the music was the best I remember when the tour groups come. A “walk-in” visiting adult lady got saved and baptized in the evening service too!
It was a wonderful day, the best part was spending it with Carrie and Lyndsey. I sure am a blessed man.
